For the infant seat that can rear face until his birthday.
The infant seats cant forward face until his birthday.

The infant seat you will need to get convertible seat you will need to be at least age to forward face if he is too heavy for the infant seats cant forward face and.

OK…the seats that go with the travel system are INFANT seats and can only go REAR facing. A child must stay rear facing for at least one year AND 20 pounds.
If he is too big for the infant seat, it is time to move to a convertible seat that can go rear facing until he is at least a year.
These are the convertible carseat that you need to get.
